SeaVa started as a passion project by two men separated by over 1300 miles. Founders Ryan Kennedy of Charleston, SC and Jon Stone, of Minneapolis, MN, connected over a deep love of nature, design, and the desire to give people of all ages incredible memories on the water.
Tapping into Ryan’s years of surfing, touring, guiding and expedition experience, and Jon’s product-development background, we designed our first kit to get everyone out in the great outdoors easily.
Lifelong outdoors enthusiasts, Jon and his family enjoy paddling the Boundary Waters, mountain biking the best of Minnesota’s single track, backpacking the Superior Hiking Trail, and camping. You can find them outside most anytime.
Ryan spends his days focusing on making SeaVa the best paddle board company out there. Expect to find him on the water, sharing his love of paddling with young and old alike, and leading guided paddle board tours in and around Seabrook Island.
Ryan is also into the sport of paddle board racing and has two “First in the World” paddle board expeditions to his name; Cosiguina Volcano (Nicaragua, 2015) and Atlantic SUPergirls (2015–16), New York City to Miami, unsupported, “Paddleboard Expedition of the Year” SUP the Mag.
